1.3.0
Latest July 23, 2026- The Eye installs its own hooks. Open Settings → Tools and every agent has a row: whether The Eye is watching it, and a button to start or stop. One button sets up every agent found on your Mac. No script to run, no terminal.
- It tells you what it needs. The hooks rely on
jq, which ships with macOS 15 and later. If it is missing, Settings says so plainly instead of leaving the Eye closed with no explanation. - Your own hooks are left alone. The Eye adds only its own entries, keeps a backup of every file it edits, and removes only what it added. A config it cannot read is reported, never overwritten.
- Removing it is just as easy. Remove one agent or all of them from the same pane, and the watcher script goes with them.
